When I go to start my 92 Sable after it sits all night and it is damp in the morning, with dew on the windows, I open the door and there is no power at all. Dome light does not come, power locks not working. Clock still works with correct time. When I shut the door a few times and turn the key, the power comes back on and I am able to start the engine. However, the clock is reset to 12:00. The battery cables are firmly connected to the battery terminals which are clean and free from corrosion. I am not sure what to check from that point. Thanks for your input.

look at your relay box one of the connectors is loose and or a relay is sticking due to the humidity

you cant tell if the battery cables are clean on outside when the insides is where it make contract at so remove and clean out the inside ..is what steps you must do when cleaning battery cables the sign of real dirty cables is its on the outside but inside is where it all happens not the outside
