1992 jeep wrangler sometimes starts?

I have a 1992 wrangler, on occasion and seems to be when the vehicle is cold when you turn the ignition on only one light will light on the instrument panel and the vehicle will crank but will not start and has no fire at distributer, after turning ignition on and off several times all lights will light up and vehicle will start and run fine.....any help would be greatly appreciated....
 
Some possibilities, Bad ignition switch, bad/corroded/lose battery cables. Weak or bad fusible link. Or bad wiring harness. I would start with the ignition switch as you mention turning it off and on a few times will correct the situation. However I would also look at these other things as preventative maintain items.
