1992 jeep wrangler problems?

I have a 1992 wrangler with 2.5. After setting overnite when the key is turned on to start none of the ignition panel lites will lite, at this time it has no power to dist, or fuel pump, it will crank but not start. after leaving key on for awhile lites will lite and jeep will start and run, however it may run 5 mins or 5 hours then die and problem starts again.. All wiring from the ignition switch is hot except for start wire which becomes hot if cranking even when lites do not work. If I check diagnostics codes it has 2 which are a/c relay short, which it does not have a/c, and battery discon within last 50 key cycles with I know I have not disconed battery myself. all help would be appreciated...thanks
