1992 ford e350 not starting after new battires?

I went to buy a motor home that ran good then they put a new battery in. now it cranks but wont start.. what would get messed up if battery was hooked up backwards?checked fuzable link at starter solenoid , checked all fuses, not getting fuel or spark ... any help with this would be great..its a 1992 fleetwood southwind motor home with a fi-460 ford motor same as e350 van
