1992 ford bronco 302?

idles at 1500 rpm i have checked vacuum line and the air intake sensor

check all fluids especially the radiator coolant level, also check gaping on spark plugs

take the snorkel off the throttle body and clean the throttle body out inside with throttle body cleaner. the butterfly inside could be sticking.

Well 1500 is not too high, but it should run at 1500rpms when you first start it then it should slowly taper off to around 1,000-1,200 rpms. My ford runs at 1000 when it idles and it runs perfect. Try adjusting your throttle on the fuel injection or on your carburetor.(depends on what you have)
