1992 dodge shadow engine and transmission ?

i have a 92' dodge shadow...i want to replace the the engine and transmission on it. i am thinking about putting a dodge neon engine and a dodge neon tranny in it...thinking about 96',97' dodge neon parts in my shadow. does anybody know if that would work out without any major problems.

Stay away from dodge neons engine and tranny.
