Just this morning, I was on my way to school and my transmission went out. I can get it up to 25mph, but after that the slightest touch on the accelerator causes it to jump to about 5000 rpm's, and does not shift or go any faster... i had to coast into the parking ramp after driving 5 blocks with my caution lights on. I haven't checked my fluids, but this car IS due for an oil change. it still shifts to reverse just fine. any likely problems or suggestions based on this information? the car has 100,600ish miles on it.
