runs rough, making a purring noise and lugging. opening the throttle or revving engine clears it up for a few moments. More prominent under load ( Eg; hills) and at operating temp.
4 ASE mechanics that I have taken my vehicles to for 20 years could NOT figure this one out.
OTHER DETAILS: WELL maintained and serviced 3.8 V6, DOES NOT burn oil, run on mid grade gasoline, regularly use additives (Eg; valve & injector cleaners, Marvel mystery oil ®) And about 250k freeway miles
