While driving at around 65 or 70 mph, the car will kick down from overdrive to 3rd gear, and will not change until you pull over, come to a complete stop again, and then go. Also, sometimes it just won't go into overdrive under heavy acceleration such as merging onto a freeway or expressway. The car has a lot of miles on it, but has a new engine, so we are hoping it could be a minor fix rather than a whole tranny overhaul. What do you think?
