1991 Toyota Camry Electrical?

I own a 1991 Toyota Camry and recently the "lights" light has illuminated and my left turn signal blinks very rapidly when activated. The right signal works just fine and no other systems seem to be affected. What could be wrong and will this cause my car to die?
 
Sounds like you have a bulb burned out on the left side. The side with a burned out bulb will blink fast.

sounds like one of the left turn signal lights are burned out.. It could even be a marker light as on some cars they blink with the turn signal. Turn on your 4 way flashers and walk around the car and see whats blinking and whats not from one side to the other.
