intermittantly but car doesn't stall? I start the car, letting it warm up for about 5 minutes then I put it in drive and go; occasionally the "check engine" light comes on after transfering into 2nd gear, remaining on until I shut the car off. Other times, also occasionally but increasing in frequency over the past 2 weeks, the "battery" and "brake on" lights on the left side of the driver side dash panel, will come on though the car doesn't lose power or stall. These 2 indicators stay on for less then 1 to 2 seconds, (sometimes just flickering, but both coming on whenever it happens) before blinking off again. Doesn't happen when hitting bumps, only accelerating on a flat road. Always happens within 5 minutes of putting it in DRIVE and going on my way.
It's cold (low 20s) here in Utah and so far it's only done this in the really cold temps. When the weather's above 30 it doesn't do it. But it DOES do it whether I let the car warm up or not.
Any ideas or past experiences?
