1991 Mazda B2200 worth the money?

I'm looking at buying a used 1991 Mazda B2200 pickup, it's 4 cyl, 2wd, 5 spd, 2 door basic little truck. the body looks like near perfect condition, it runs well, but it does need a new windshield. would it be worth 1000?
 
If it runs well and has low mileage... invest $100 in a mobile mechanic to come out and check it out.

The windshield should cost no more than $300 or less if you go to a junk yard.
