1st its not CPU a car has a ECU and change no?, cars all work fine when have you heard of anything like that due to elevation i have been from Guanajuato to Mexico city which was a much higher elevation with out a problem in a Civic if the Vtec doesn't kick in it might me that a wire might be damage or the ECU from the Prelude wasn't good
