check your temp gauge when you drive and at an idle , is your a/c on ? but it should be fine , it just cooling the engine down . it comes on when the thermostat hits the temp limit I.E 195 degrees F' . I bet you can't hear the fan going on when you are driving but it does . give it like 20 mins at an idle and see if the fan kicks on should be around 185 to 210 degrees and you should see your temp. drop
