1991 Ford Truck slow exceleration?
I have a 1991 f-150 XLT LARIET EFI 5.0 liter engine,manual trans. it cranks idle fast & low speed OK. It acts like it is starving for fuel,has weak power (RPM drops fast).Have checked fuel pressure,catalic converter,new service and tune up,changed air filter,spark plugs,checked vaccum lines,computer settings.
After the engine runs 5-10 min. the check engine light comes on and the (serpatine type) fan belt starts making a small chirp sound.I am thinking that the smok pump could be the only thing that would cause this change. PLEASE HELP!
