I have a 1991 Ford Ranger, with the 2.3L 4cyl motor, and I drove it this morning about a quarter mile down the road, drove it back, and while it was idling in my driveway, it died. The gas hand is broke, so we thought it was out of gas. We put gas in it, and then it wouldn't start. I checked the fuel pump shut off switch, and it wasn't kicked. I checked to make sure it is getting fuel, and it is, and there is spark on both coils, but it still won't start. It cranks, but nothing. When cranking, it doesn't crank like normal, but more of a "cha chaaa, cha chaaa," not the normal "cha cha cha cha" yeah, I realize how stupid that looks, but sounds are a big part of diagnosis. I would really appreciate the help.
