I have a 1991 ford f150 302 auto and when sitting a a redlight or somrthing the rpms go down and tries to die and sometime when you go to take off it just dies...i was told i have a throttle control sensor broke but idk where that is can anyone help em locate it?

I think you're referring to the TPS or throttle position sensor. It's located on the side of the throttle body opposite the linkage.

WAAAAAIT!!!! take off the idle air bypass valve and clean it and the intake manifold passages with carburetor cleaner(make sure everything is dry before reassembly/starting). these things are problematic and always get carbon buildup and cause idling issues.

it is on the throttle opposite of the cable linkage. And if its not that you should also check your idle air control and check all of your vacuum lines.
