1991 Ford Explorer consumes radiator water?

The only reason for large amounts of water to come out of the exhaust is if you have blown a head gasket or worse, have engine damage. Better take it to a garage ASAP to prevent further damage.

i have a 1991 Ford Explorer and recently i noticed that it overheats really quickly after turning it on. so i checked the radiator and it had no water. so then i added some water and anti freeze and turned on the engine so that it circulates. but then i noticed that there was a lot of vapor coming out of the exhaust. I checked the temp and it was high again. so with the engine on i pour in some more water into the radiator and more vapor came out of the exhaust.

can anyone help me? whats wrong with my car? why does it consume the water from my radiator?

Sounds pretty serious. Could easily be a blown head gasket. If it is loosing coolant quickly and white fog is coming out of tail pipe, gasket is very probable. Take it, tow it, push it , haul it (do not drive it) to a local mechanic and have it looked at. If you drive it and it has a head gasket problem, that may cost you an entire engine.
