1991 dodge shadow When starting the car this morning, the oil light came on, I

just had a oil change...? it was done about 1 1/2 weeks ago.... More oil was added, without checking dip first (NOT BY ME), I stopped the person from leaving in the car who wanted to ignore afore mentioned.. I also need to know how to drain thr excess oil.... its a 4 cyl. automatic...(insert swear words of choice here!)
it wasn't the mechanic that put in the excess oil... it was the person I live with that did that this morning..... I'm wondering about other reasons for oil light to come on for my make of car....

I'll wait for daylight to drain oil (and find something to use as an oil pan) Thanks :)

Ugh this is not the day I had planned!!! LOL
 
first check it when cold if to much oil can just remove oil filter pour it out and replace it and really if its just been doen id go back and have them redo it all so they learn from their mistakes
