I bought the truck a couple months ago and first the oil pressure guage would drop down from 40 to almost 0 after driving 20 minutes or so. After the truck warms up the check engine light comes on at idle because the oil pressure gets low unless you give it gas. Now it's worse, the motor will suddenly bog down after driving a few mins and if i push the gas to the floor it will lag and then open up and accelerate in short bursts. I replaced the fuel filter a few days ago and thought I had it solved and then it did it to me again tonight. Could it be the fuel pump and oil pump are both malfunctioning? Or is there an oil pressure switch that can affect the fuel pump? I'm not sure what to replace to fix it. The check engine light doesn't even come on when it starts hesitating and the oil pressure sometimes shows its still ok when it starts hesitating.
