I am having a problem with my car. When I start it and start to drive it's like it doesn't want to go and it shakes and makes weird noises. But when I go a bit faster sometimes it will stop but when I stop for a minute it starts again. And I think I smell some kind of fume. Is it dangerous to drive it today and tomorrow to work? What could it be?

Please it's my only means of transportation and I HAVE to get to work!
Maybe it's flooding itself out or something?
It sounds like it's about to stall, especially when I stop, but when I put it in neutral it doesn't make those sounds. When I accelerate, it's like there isn't enough gas getting to the engine. Maybe a sensor?

With this description, it's virtually impossible to tell what is going on with the motor. Are you describing a motor misfire or a stalling problem? If it is a misfire and some backfiring, check all spark outputs to the plug end one at a time. If you find one or two with no spark output, check the connections on both sides to see if you can see rust or corrosion on the electrode or the wire connector. If so, you will have to replace both the wire and the affected metal part as well, be it the spark plug or the coil assembly. If those check good, try seeing if the coils are all firing. If they are not, you most likely have a module that will not fire that coil. Usually if the module isn't firing the coil, it got cooked by a bad coil anyways so replacing the suspect coil with a new module is the thing to do. Try to be more specific next time.

Sounds like it needs a good tune-up....probably is o2 sensor leaning fuel because it is not burning it all. Pull spark plug and check.

without seeing it, it could be anything..and could be dangerous, so you have to have a mechanic look at it..
