Hello I have a 1991 Cadillac De Ville 4.9 sedan. At 70 MPH with out shifting gears, and no prior noise and no noise after the fact my transmission when down. I lost power to the transmission it wouldn't engage. Well looking under the hood I found a Cord going into the transmission however I was able to move it around left to right, it wouldn't stay in one place but it wouldn't come out and on top of the transmission there was this little metal part that just spined around i don't know if any of this has anything to do with what happen with the transmission but if anyone could help that would be great.
