what might be wrong? Went and emissions tested my girlfriends 1990 Toyota Corolla today and it failed the test with the Hydrocarbons to high at low idle, but all others pasted no problem. It passed 2 years ago but not this time. What might cause this? Should we have driven longer than 20 minutes before testing it? Value cover leaks a little oil and spark plugs old. Could those be a factor too. Mileage is 270,000 original engine.
