1990 Mazda 626 Turn Signal Problem?

I have a 1990 Mazda 626 and recently the right-hand turn signal has ceased working. When I turn them on, neither the dash indicator or the actual signal light will come on. Instead, there is only a rapid clicking. The left signal works fine.
 
I had an F Reg Mazda 323. It was a good first car but man were the electrics messed up. It sound comical, but when I turned the radio on the headlights didn't work, when I indicated with the car running and the heating on the windscreen wipers would come on.

But to me it definitley sounds like you have a bulb out. That is why the indicator is so rapid as there is twice the power going throught the sytem.
