My 1990 4 cylinder Jeep Wrangler quit running, if I removed the throttle body cap and poured in a small amount of gasoline it would start and run fine for 30 seconds or so, I assumed the fuel pump was bad and I removed the fuel tank and installed a new pump and filled the tank with fresh gas,I also installed a new fuel filter but I still cannot get gas to the engine, what could be wrong? I have a Haynes Jeep manual but it does not seem to have this scenario in it.
