1990 honda civic hatchback?

i have a 1990 civic dx and it wont start i have fire and i have fuel but will not turn over i recently pushed it down a hill and i clutch started it and it ran for about two mins then started to die what could this be please help me also a weak before this happend my car started over heating and i put coolant in it and it ran good then the next day i put some gas out of a gas can in it and it ran then the next day it wouldnt start at all idk what the issue is please help
