Ok. So I have replaced the radiator, front radiator hose, the cap, two thermostats and all the fluid levels are up to par. The car runs fine for a few days and then almost red lines. I took it to a mechanic....he removed my spark plugs and when trying to start it( of course it didn't start) no water came out of the block. Now I know there may be a problem with the compression. Or nothing at all. The Gage could be tripping out. My question is from the detail I have provided can anyone provide me with any other resolutions????
The fans do come on. Im starting to think maybe the gage itself may need to be replaced???
You want to buy me a new car?? LOL I have found another alternative. Im in Texas we have a replacement program for older cars. If it will last 2 weeks it should be fine. Yes I smell something. Not sure if it is sweet. It is nauseating and yes the exhaust is blowing white smoke. Thats why I had the mechanic check for water in the engine. No water in the oil either.
