Sometimes when I go to start my car, especially if it has been sitting overnight, when I turn the key I just hear a fast clicking sound. All lights, seatbelts etc work but doesn't turn over. If I play with it a bit, it starts up just fine.
One of my friends seems to think it's the starter, one the alternator and yet a 3rd thinks it's the ignition.
Anyone here have this type of experience and maybe tell me where to start to get this fixed? It doesn't do it every time. I also would like to know a ballpark figure of what it should cost to get fixed so I know if someone is jerking me around or not..
