1990 dodge egr valve/plastic valve keeps melting?

New member
replaced the factory egr valve and plastic valve after it burned up,melted the plastic valve. Truck ran fine in city for about a month. Drove it about 50 highway miles/speeds and melted the plastic valve and hose that are attached to the egr valve. obviously something else going on. any ideas? Thanks
