Hello,
I have a 1990 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 5-Speed 3.9L V6 and when i go to start the truck the starter just spins as if it missed. I keep doing it over and over and the it gets closer to grabbing and then finally starts. The other day i tried putting the truck in first and spinning it over, and it caught much faster! I kept trying to find what could make it start faster, it seems like first gear did the trick, but what is this problem? Bad ground? Starter?
