I did the manual flash code procedure and the code was P1289: Manifold Tune Valve Solenoid Circuit Open or Shorted.
What are some things that could be causing that sensor to trip? I don't have the ability to test the circuits, so I was wondering if the chugging is related, so I can get an estimate on how much it will cost to fix.
The car is fine when idling, but chugs like crazy while trying to get up to speed. Even when it stops chugging, it seems to be straining to go.
@Joseph- I have no idea. I'm not a car person, so I don't even know what that part looks like or where to find it.
Okay, that makes more sense, there were 3 codes then:
12- Memory Standby power lost.
26- Peak injector current not reached.
27- Fault in injector driver interface circuit.
