My truck has a 4 speed manual and I get on youtube and see people showing how they can do burn outs and other crazy things with their 6.2's. Mine has a turbo and is really slow at accelerating and I can't even hear the turbo. Is there something wrong because when I let out on the clutch I hit the gas I can't tell if the gear ratio is really low or it is guttless. I also don't have an rpm gauge and what speed am I safe to accelerate to with out red lining . Does the turbo only activate when under a huge load?
1990 Chevy 2500 6.2 doesn't seem to have any power?
