I have a very old Toyota Camry 1989 under 110000 mils. When I brake hard, the car tends to drift into a side. I sometimes have to slightly steer the car into the opposite direction when applying brakes hard. If the road is wet, applying brakes hard would always result in a spin unless I apply the brakes gradually. I replaced the brake pads but it did not solve the problem. Could it be an imbalance brake distribution? How do I solve this? I narrowly escape twice without hitting car twice while the road was wet.
