1989 pontiac firebird?

i have a 89 pontiac firebird and i am thinking about getting a 350 tune port engine from a junk yard and i was wondering how to start the engine after i tack it out of the car like how wood i hook up a batty. to it and get gas to it or how wood i start the car with out the kye because it is a chipped kye or what wood be the easiest way to do this
