gas in it.? I have a 1989 Mazda 323 that wont start. I have not had any trouble with it until now.
The only thing that has gone wrong in the past month is my fuel gauge has stopped working and once in a blue moon when Im stopped at a red light, the gauge would slowly come up... only to go back down when the light gos green and I take off again. I added a couple gallons of gas just to make sure it was not out of gas.... and I was pretty sure I had plenty in it anyways.... and it still wont start.
I drove it with no problems the day before but the next morning it would not start. I have no money for parts at this time and need my car badly !
If the float in tank is bad that would not cause car to not start... right?
What would you check first ?
Then second ?
Please help.
