I am looking at buying a 1989 Jeep YJ.... But it needs all new tires. I found on Craigslist a set of four affordable tires, that say they fit a YJ, however I was online and saw that the size of a YJ tire is very similar to these tires with one difference.
one says 225/ 75/ R15
the other is 225/ 70 / R15
(the ones I plan on buying are the 225/ 70/ R15
I was wondering if this difference between 70 and 75 makes a difference in the tire? and what does that number mean?
Also, I dont plan on going off roading, just driving myself around anywhere I need to go. Just an every day car.
so does it matter?
