the jeep has a new battery and replaced altenator. the thing will die over night though. for whatever reason. no lights left on, no electrical switches or anything. and it only seems to happen on fridays lol. the vehicle is driven only to school and works which is less than 10 miles away. and maybe 30 miles to twice a week to my other work. is he battery not getting enough power to stay charged? is their a way to tell if maybe the electrical system is faulty and killing the battery overnight? please ask questions if need be. thanks!

My 88 has had a similar problem with the dome light coming on and running down the battery. I have not been able to find the short so I had to pull the bulb. It would be fine overnight but if I left it for a weekend the battery would be dead. It took forever to find it because the light would just come on by itself sometime after I left the Jeep.

You could also have a bad alternator. I have had new ones fail right out of the box. If your has a bad diode it could be draining the battery when it is off and not fully charging it when running. Have it checked where you bought it.

Check your battery connections as well.

check for connection issues, you might need to drive it a bit more for the alternator to do its thing, but i bet is a connection issue, especially if it has seen rough terrine
