and driving four hours straight? This vehicle is drivable but needs a whole exhaust system. I can get it for $300. Pretty good deal right? Seems to be in good shape. My father seems to think the transmission will go anytime and that it can't make the four hour trip to bring home. Any help? I've heard they can last up to or over 300,000 miles. Would love to hear from any who have had this car or know about it. Thanks!
Thanks CB! Sterling m and 2009! Awesome! All my dad could say was "yeah." you see he has not liked foreign cars though he knows how good they can be. hmmm. These are great ideas and I hope that it'll work out if we decide to do it.... hopefully there's a good place to check it out at. I mean the person I'd buy it from is the sister of a friend. So smell the "tranny" oil, change the oil, and give it a rest after couple hours? Hm, sounds great.
OH! Also, how crazy will it be if I drive it with no exhaust system? I know it'll be *super* loud, but at least for the drive to where I live I hope it'll be okay..

yeah 1st answer is right, let it cool off after halfway or go 4ths and rest each time. It also wouldn't hurt to get it checked real quick but yeah hondas last way long!

great advice CB , also, smell the tranny fluid for a burnt smell , 189k is just broken in , do your motor a favour and change the oil before you take the trip . those are great cars , put an exhaust on it asap , your exhaust valves will last longer .
