My boyfriend has a 1989 Honda Accord automatic, good condition. Only thing wrong with it is when it gets cold out the key locks in the ignition when the car is turned off. It never happens in the spring or summer, only later fall and all of winter. Is there any quick fix to this? Any ideas of what it could be? We've tried turning the wheel with the car off and on, putting the car back in park, but the key just won't turn to the off position to come out. After about five minutes of waiting the key usually comes out of the car. Any answers help, we want this problem fixed, it's quite a hassle when we really need to get somewhere.
