My car has a V6 (non-turbo) with 130,000 miles. It ran great when I parked it 5 days ago. Now, today, it runs as if a couple of spark plugs are unplugged. The check engine light is also on. My car is too old for local auto stores to provide free engine diagnostic code reads. Are there some simple things I can check out myself? I wonder if the fuel pump is failing and if so, is it a tank-installed pump? Thanks much for any suggestions.
