1989 Chevy G20 passanger window wont open?

I have the above chevy. when trying to open the window (electric windows) from the passenger side it will not open, However you can close it using the passenger side. The driver side will both open and close the window. Any suggestions as to what might be broken, or how to fix said problem? thanks.
 
if the window works with the driver side switch then the passenger side switch is no good, replace it and you will be ok.
