My 89 Century Ltd, 3.3L 6 Cylinder, has some issues with stalling at the moment.
While idling, it will be running smoothly, and all of a sudden the idle will dip down very low, the lights dim, and you can see the Volts on the battery gauge drop as well. It stays low for about 2-3 seconds, and then slowly picks up speed again till its normal. Also, when I shift it into Drive, it does the same thing, but more violently, as in it dips down fast, and comes right back up. The Service Engine Soon light did come on for about 15 seconds one time while I was idling today, but turned off as soon as I shifted into drive and began to move, I drove it for another 15 miles, and haven't seen it since.
Any help or insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
