I need a code computer to read the codes. Any model numbers of one I can get/buy? Also the jeep cranks fine but doesnt fire. replaced all sensors except voltage regulator. 4.0litre,2wd,auto with a/c. no power windows. basic jeep. this is the cherokee pioneer model. i know the sensoers the ECU reads when cranking. replaced the speed (crank) sensor with another one. cleaned O2 sensor. something is telling the ECU not to start . has to be a simple sensor or something it doesnt like. getting fire to plugs and fuel system is ok by my checks. is there a kill switch or safety off switch and if so where is it? otherwise - any ideas?
