Hey I've been looking for a 4ws 1988-1991 honda prelude for a really long time, and all the one sive come across have been in terrible shape. except for the engines of course, honda engines never die. however i've come across a 1988 automatic in great shape that is the Si 4ws model, and am considering doing an auto to standard tranny swap. one of the preludes i looked at actually had that done and the car ran amazing. exterior and interior was however beat to hell.
any thoughts on this? im in grade 12, bin in auto for 3 years, have done my homework, i have hoists and tools available to me.
i guess my overall question is for people who have done this type of swap. anything i should look out for? thanks alot
wow thanks for the awesome replies! theres a junk yard, "pick and pull" where i live and i have access to full honda preludes so i'll be taking the tranny from one of them. But yea thanks for telling me about the wiring harness and stuff
