I have a 1986 Pontiac Firebird with an automatic 5.0 V8 engine that feels as if it is going to die every time I accelerate. It accelerates, but jumps and misses even before changing into the next gear, before going back into it's acceleration. My last firebird died, a different way, so I don't want to go through anymore heartbreak. Any suggestions?
