my guage cluster illumination(backlight) went out on my 1986 mustang gt, i checked sll the fuses in the fuse box, and i still dont know know how to fix it... 
so if anyone knows how fix this issuei replaced the dimmer switch but that wasnt the issue the thing is the stereo was out and whoever took it out ddnt cover the wires soo there was a spark and all of the dashboard lights went out including the a/c and heating control lights , please help me
