I was wondering if there was anything about an '86 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that would prevent me from putting in a crate V6? Will a V6 be underpowered for a SUV of this size? I've never actually seen one in person but there is one for sale cheaply on Craigslist and I love the look of them, I just don't want to get 10 MPG with the stock V8. Does anyone have any V6 engine suggestions that would work well? Thanks!
It's not in the best condition so it's pretty cheap. With the extra money I'd much prefer a 6 cylinder. I have no preference between a V and an I. Do you know if it would be too underpowered with a 6? Thanks.
