1986 chevy s10 2.8L v6 swap for 4.3 fuel injected v6?

i have a 1986 chevy s10 with a 2.8l v6 engine and auto tranny. i want to swap in a 4.3l v6 engine and auto tranny. was wondering which vehicles have the 4.3l fuel injection that i can swap in. ive done some research but havent found much info yet. will i also need another tranny to fit the 4.3 or will the stock 86 tranny work on it. i know i will also need the wiring harness including the ecm etc. etc. would it be better to rebuild an engine or buy a new one. any and all information will be appreciated.
