I posted the same question a few minutes ago and got a response that made me want to clarify the question. When I push the parking brake pedal down, it does not click like it should and does not stick, like I said, when the pedal gets pushed down, the release lever gets pushed out from the dash, and when I take my foot off the pedal, it pops right back up to the normal position and the release lever is pulled back towards the dash. So Dick the car Guy, yes there is something wrong with it as it will not engage at all, does anyone know what this could be?
