My boyfriend recently bought a 1985 Limited Edition Goldwing. Right after he purchased it, it ran around 14.4 volts on the volt meter, now it's running around 13.1 volts. It actually stopped running while he was driving it the other day. He can rev it up to 14.4 volts, but it will just not stay there at all. The motorcycle shop tested the stator and claimed that it was ok. They said the regulator wasn't anything to worry about much. What could it be? Could it be the regulator? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!
